About me

Hello. I’m Alex Morris. I’m an animator, illustrator, musician and writer.

I love putting weird and wonderful stuff together from scratch and If I’m not found with my nose in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Logic, Final Cut, Anime Sutdio, Word or Excel, I can probably be found in BBEdit up to my elbows in HTML 5 and Javascript.

In 2001 I co-created the celebrated humour website The Framley Examiner, which spawned the books The Framley Examiner (2002, over 30,000 copies sold worldwide) and Historic Framley (2003). I also co-wrote Bollocks to Alton Towers (Sunday Times top travel book of 2005) and Far From the Sodding Crowd (2007).

I have also produced animations for the BBC, Channel 4, Tiger Aspect and Maverick. Oh, and also illustrations and artwork for clients including Penguin, Hodder Headline, Daily Mirror, Viz Comic, R&S Records and Rising Stars.

Please take a look at some of my work on this website and do contact me if you think I might be able to help with your next project.
